Message from President

In 1940, NEIYAKU KAGAKU CO.,LTD. was established to produce “Neiju” which is artificial color of digestive medicine and had supplied them as coating raw material for “Akadama-Haragusuri (Digestive Red Pills)”.
In order to improve the value for household delivery drug, we manufactured and distributed antitussive drugs mainly containing dihydrocodeine, after obtaining a first licence for narcotics manufacturer in Nara Prefecture, Japan.

We have been producing bulk products such as sugar-coated tablets, SP packing, capsules and PTP packing as a commissioned manufacturer for more than 50 years.

Nowadays, it has become popular to have OEC agreements with outside partners for drug manufacturing. We are pursuing improvement of our manufacturing equipment and strengthening our organization and controls in order to achieve integrated manufacturing for final products and to respond to our partner’s OEM requirements.

We are also endeavoring for product developments and manufacturing technology studies on producing own products so that we can be an outstanding unique manufacturer.

In addition, we import, manufacture and process characteristic raw material.

Business circumstance is getting severer and severer. However, we will strive to produce excellent products with sufficient experience and ingenuity by foreseeing future market so that we can co-operate with our partners effectively.
